Rear axle rotation on a lifted JK is mandatory for eliminating vibration caused from driveline vibration. Unfortunately, the stock rear spring mounts are not adjustable therefore leading to COIL SPRING alignment problems when tilting the pinion. Rotating the pinion with stock spring mounts also creates interference with the coil springs and rear TRACK BAR. The only way to correct this problem is to change the position of the lower spring mounts. Our new STEEL SPRING MOUNTS offer the perfect solution for your misaligned JK coil springs.
Installation of the JB CONVERSIONS spring mounts require easy removal of the original stamped spring mounts on the rear axle tube. This exercise can be done quickly with a small grinder without removing the axle or control arms from the vehicle. Once the coil springs are realigned to a vertical position, the new mounts can be welded in place.
This new spring mount kit will replace the stock spring mounts with an ideal solution for keeping the coils in line with the axle and frame. Machined from solid stock, our mounts are welded in place of the original stamped spring bases.
The base of the new mount is milled to the same radius as the axle tube diameter producing a "glove" fit.
Each mount features a top "retention cap" which retains the coil spring in place under all suspension conditions.
