The gold switch shown below is installed into the NVG241OR transfer case from the factory. When using a NVG241OR in "non-Rubicon" Jeep applications such as earlier YJ, TJ, and XJ's, the 4WD Dash indicator light will require the new switch and connector shown above.
The new switch comes with a new end connector/wire. Your original wiring on the Jeep harness will need to be replaced with the connector supplied with the new switch.
